So, I’ve been itching to share more “looks” on the blog, but I was just unsure of how to! Believe it or not, posting a #GTLT requires about 4 to 6 hours of time when it is all said and done. That’s a lot of time, huh? People think blogging is easy work, but I am here to tell you it isn’t! Well, I will go ahead and get off that soapbox and save it for another post. LOL. Any who, I share all of this to ask you guys a question! How do you feel about me adding an additional Get The Look each week? I’m thinking we can call it Get The Look Tuesday or Get The Look T-days?! The only difference with this Get The Look than Thursday’s weekly post is that it will be minimal in content and images. In essence it’s a mini Get The Look! So here’s a little sample of what it would look like…
I’m a girly girl thru and thru. I live for the soft, flowly feminine clothing. It has a way of freeing my spirit. So in celebration of that beautiful feeling…here’s a little free spirit action.
I have a confession. I am kinda anti-blue (not including blue jeans) and I am not sure why! Every now and then, I will force myself to purchase something blue and then literally wear it twice before I put it into the “I’m not wearing this ever again” pile. Ugh. So for 2014 I made it a goal to wear lots of blue and so far so good…I’m surviving! While shopping at Blue Door Boutique in Columbus, GA back in June, I happened upon this sweet little denim dress and just had to get it! Well, in typical Candace fashion I got home to discover that I didn’t love it as much as I did when I tried it on. After whining for approximately 2 days, I pulled myself together and tapped into my “extreme fashion creativity” to discover that I did indeed love this sweet little denim dress.
Ok, lovers. I’m sure most of you follow TONS of bloggers via Instagram for fashion inspo and all that jazz! And if you aren’t, then you should, because all of the cool kids are doing it. Also, fashion and style bloggers have become the new media surrogates of the fashion industry. So, if you wanna be “in the know” you MOST DEFINITELY need to support the bloggersphere so we can continue to provide YOU with the latest and greatest. And now that I am done with my “support bloggers” rant, I wanted to fill you in on this super groovy tool that will help you avoid the million dollar question, “Oh my God! Where did you get that?”

The power of social media is kinda beautiful
(and sometimes scary). Just three weeks ago I uploaded a couple images to Pinterest from my dear friend Emily Loftiss’ blog because she had these TO DIE FOR images that screamed “PINTEREST WORTHY.” See them HERE and you will scream. Any who, being the tagging freak that I am, I was sure to @ reply Emily, as well as the wonderful boutique, Pink Blush, who provided her dress. I share all of this to say, Pink Blush reached out and asked if I would like to collab and of course I said YES! So after hours upon hours of stalking their website, I found a dress that spoke to me! Say hello to the “Mint Green Floral Open Back Dress,” aka Floral Bliss.
